Glazed fire-rated windows and doors: safety, transparency and elegance

Sisti Engineering’s glazed fire-rated doors and windows represent the most sophisticated fusion of fire protection and architectural quality. These solutions combine fire compartmentalisation with the transparency and brightness of glass, without compromising on certified performance. A design balance that brings together safety, elegance and design.

Transparency that does not compromise security

The transparency of glazed fire-resistant windows and doors is not an exception to safety requirements, but the result of advanced technologies applied with rigorous design standards. The laminated glass used – of the extra-clear type and characterised by high light transmittance – complies with the main European standards on fire resistance and forms an integral part of the fully tested and certified fire compartmentation system.

Sisti Engineering’s glazed fire-rated doors and windows are available in fire resistance classes EI 30, EI 60, EI 90 and EI 120, in accordance with harmonised European standards.

Products

Precision profiles: steel and aluminium

The structural core of glazed fire-rated windows and doors consists of profiles designed to combine high rigidity with a minimalist design, featuring slim profiles that enhance the aesthetics of the space without making the opening appear bulky. The two structural ranges available cater to different design requirements:

Steel fire-rated doors and windows

High-strength profiles, available as single- or double-leaf doors, in complex configurations with transom windows and side fixed panels, or as fixed elements. A solution suitable for industrial, commercial and infrastructure applications, where structural strength is a priority

Aluminium fire-rated windows and doors

Single- or double-leaf systems, including complex configurations or as fixed elements. Ideal for high-end residential architecture, corporate headquarters and spaces where the visual lightness of the profile is an essential design requirement.

High-quality finishes and coverings

Glazed fire-rated doors and windows are designed to blend seamlessly into even the most aesthetically demanding settings. Finishes can be selected from among the finest options available, ensuring they fit harmoniously into high-end environments such as luxury hotels, institutional buildings, private residences, museums and art galleries. The wide variety of configurations, including complex solutions with transom windows and fixed side panels, enables us to meet any architectural requirement precisely, even in the most intricate applications.
