A designer fire door: from design to installation
The Design Line fire door is not a standard product, but a bespoke solution developed following in-depth technical consultation. Sisti Engineering works closely with the client from the very outset, analysing their functional requirements, the architectural characteristics of the setting and the level of customisation required, in order to define and deliver the most suitable solution.
Aesthetic customisation does not entail any compromise or deviation in terms of safety. Every designer fire door is manufactured in full compliance with current regulations and applicable ministerial decrees, passing both the required certification tests and the rigorous internal quality and safety tests adopted by Sisti Engineering. Versions for external use are CE-marked in accordance with standard EN 16034, whilst versions for internal use comply with the Ministerial Approval scheme pursuant to the Ministerial Decree of 21 June 2004.
Another distinctive feature of these designer fire doors is the specialised hinge, developed and patented by Sisti Engineering, which also bears the CE mark.

Series BS 99 REI 120 1B.2B - Soundproof
Internal pedestrian fire door – Class REI 120
Approved in accordance with Ministerial Decree of 21 June 2004
- Frame with a high moment of inertia cross-section, made from 2.5 mm thick shaped steel section, with a seat for EPDM gaskets to seal against cold smoke and a heat-expanding gasket for sealing at high temperatures. The frame is in turn shaped to ensure coplanarity with the door leaf on the hinge side.
- Door leaf made from 1.5 mm thick galvanised steel sheet, box-sectioned and press-bent around the perimeter to form a particularly sturdy and elegant rebate.
Internal insulation consisting of multiple high-density layers bonded directly to the steel sheets to achieve high flexural and torsional rigidity.
Total door thickness: 65 mm.

BS 99 1B Hinged Single Door
Two sealing strips fitted to the side of the door leaf.
Three CE-marked hinges rated Grade 14 in accordance with standard EN 1935: 200,000 cycles with a load of 160 kg per hinge, made from solid-machined three-wing steel and fitted with thrust bearings, designed for a virtually unlimited service life even under the most demanding conditions of use.
CE-marked two-way side-mounted fire door lock, with a nickel-plated through-cylinder and a pair of heat-resistant handles specifically designed for fire doors, complete with escutcheons and round keyholes.

BS 99 2B Hinged Double Door

Three CE-marked hinges on each leaf, rated Grade 14 in accordance with standard EN 1935: 200,000 cycles with a load of 160 kg per hinge, made from solid-machined three-wing steel and fitted with thrust bearings, designed for a virtually unlimited service life even under the most demanding conditions of use.
The main leaf is fitted with a CE-marked three-way side-mounted fire-rated lock, with a nickel-plated through-cylinder and a pair of heat-resistant handles.
The secondary leaf is fitted with a CE-marked deadbolt lock featuring a self-locking ‘flash bolt’ mechanism during closing and a lever for opening.

CE- marked external pedestrian or driveway fire door – Class EI2 120 – Sa
in accordance with the EN 16034:2014 – EN 14351-1:2016 + A2:2016 – EN 13241:2016 + A2:2016 standards.
- Frame with a high moment of inertia section, made of 2.5 mm-thick shaped galvanized steel profile, with seats for non-toxic thermoplastic elastomer gaskets for cold smoke sealing and thermo-expanding gasket for high temperature sealing.
The frame is shaped to lie flush with the door on the hinge side. - Door in 1.2 mm-thick galvanized steel sheet, boxed and press-folded around the perimeter in such a way as to form a stop that is solid and elegant. Internal insulation consisting of multiple high-density layers glued directly to the sheets to obtain high flexural and torsional rigidity.
A recessed automatic under-door seal is provided on the lower edge of the pull side.
The total thickness of the door is 68 mm.
